At Happy&Well Mum&Baby yoga class we concentrate on Mums, making them relaxed, stretched, exercised, happy & well, babies can stay in their prams or play in a safe area near Mums.

How to prepare & what to wear for Happy&Well Yoga session?

Physical exercise after giving birth

Wait until you’ve had your 6-8 week postnatal check with your GP before returning to your pre-pregnancy levels of exercise. Try to build up your exercise levels gradually. Once you have recovered from your c-section and no longer have any pain, it is usually safe to start low-impact exercises, such as swimming, pilates, yoga, gentle jogging and low resistance gym work.

Your GP may recommend you wait for at least 12 weeks before starting any high-impact exercises, such as aerobics, running and resistance or weight training.

Yoga is a physical activity so please come in comfortable clothing e.g. shorts/leggings/ t-shirt or long sleeve top in winter. Feet are bare. Mats are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Bring a baby blanket or a towel.

Make sure all babies are as happy as can be before we start. That will ensure that both you and your child get the full positive benefits of the practice. Diapers are clean, feedings are done, etc.

Price & Class Size

Please contact Happy&Well Yoga to pre-book (subject to availability). Normal drop in charges per session and all are subject to availability, however pre-paying for 5/6 week term guarantees a place and gives you a discount.

Pay as You Go @ £6 per class Pre-paid 5-6 weeks term time @ £5 per class

Class size – Maximum of 10 Baby&Mums per class

Can I just turn up for the class or do I need to pre-book?

Pre-booking is recommended as class sizes are kept small to enable everyone to get my full attention while teaching, if the class has space in it then you are welcome to come along and try it out, just contact me by email or phone to reserve a place.
