About
Sabina Dye &
Happy & Well Yoga
My name is Sabina Dye, I am a Yoga Teacher at Happy & Well Yoga and I am also a qualified Reiki Practitioner since 2011.
My Yoga journey began in 2008 when I started to attend a Yoga class in London, then moving to Wendover in 2009 and continuing with Yoga classes with Sarah Fishman. And in 2017 I decided to learn Yoga for kids with a weekend Kidding Around Yoga course in London. My fellow students and I had so much fun learning how to deliver engaging, fun and music filled classes for kids that I decided to do a full Yoga course for adults as well. I am a fully qualified Yoga Teacher for Kids and Adults as well as KundaDance by Maya Fiennes Teacher.
I strive to deliver Happy & Well Yoga classes that are friendly, engaging and that will suit everyone willing to give Yoga a go.
KundaDance by Maya Fiennes is a 60-minute high intensity, fun, uplifting, cardio dance workout mixed with slow tempo parts. It's a creative movement class combining Kundalini Yoga, Thai Chi & Qi Gong. Think Yoga-Zumba with elements of Qi Gong!
Slow Flow YOGA class for for adults include relaxation, stretching, slow Yoga pose sequencing, meditation & pranayama, followed by deep relaxation.
At Peaceful Warrior Yoga classes you will learn how to use your body to make it strong and yet relaxed, how to breathe to calm yourself or to bring more energy to your mind and body, how to meditate and become more mindful and aware of yourself and the world around you. By practicing Yoga You will be Empowered and in control of your body, mind and spirit ready to meet the challenges of the world around you with ease and confidence.
Breath & Meditation Workshops are created for a wide audience of all ages. We all know that our breathing is important, this is something we all have in common - we come into this world as we take our first breath, & leave as we breathe out our last... but in between, we all take our breathing for granted... Let's dive deep into Pranayama - the Art of Yogic Breathing & learn how you can make yourself calmer, more aware of your mind, body, spirit & life around you by just being mindful of your BREATH! Also we will learn different types of breathing which can either get you energised or calm you down & we will Meditate.
Benefits of Yoga
Lots of people turn to Yoga for physical benefits like flexibility, muscle building, increasing balance & a workout that can be adapted to be challenging, yet still low-impact & easy on the joints if needed. And when you invest a bit of time & effort into realising these goals, Yoga will deliver.
But what I’ve felt & witnessed, together with countless others, is that the process of going through the postures (Asanas) & the breathing exercises (Pranayama) starts to instigate a positive mental transformation as well, & that’s where you can really get hooked.
Numerous studies have found that Yoga can be an effective treatment for issues ranging from anxiety & depression to chronic pain, insomnia, immune conditions, arthritis & even heart & blood pressure problems. Please consult your Doctor before you start any classes if you have any medical conditions.
