Peaceful Warriors Yoga currently this class is delivered at the Aylesbury Grammar School
At our Peaceful Warriors Yoga Classes you will learn how to use your body to make it strong and yet relaxed, how to breathe to calm yourself or to bring more energy to your mind and body, how to meditate and become more mindful and aware of yourself and the world around you. By practicing Yoga You will be Empowered and in control of your body, mind and spirit ready to meet the challenges of the world around you with ease and confidence.
The word “Yoga” means Union of Mind, Body and Soul as well as union with all life. It’s not just a physical practice, its roots go deeper into philosophy, history and culture.
Yoga works on many levels connecting your Body, Mind and Spirit, making you calmer, more capable to deal with everyday situations, listen to your body and mind and respond to your needs.
Through any physical practice your body gets stronger. When you do Yoga, combination of breath, mindfulness and movement during your practice creates a powerful connection of physical, mental and spiritual parts of You.
Yoga's incorporation of meditation and breathing can help improve a person's mental well-being. “Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention; and sharpens concentration,” says Dr. Nevins.
